Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Uhhh... a lot more. By May, I had written 40k words, and was flippantly like, "let's see if I can get to 100k words by December!" HAHAHAHAHA. Including stuff I haven't posted (to AO3, or generally), I've written about 140k words this year, which is seven times what I wrote in 2012. Uh, it helps to have a routine?
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2012?
TEEN WOLF (PRAISE IT)
What's your favourite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Last year, I asked, "How can I ever top a femslash genderswap Canadian high school AU?" Well, I actually think I have written crackier things now (etothepii & snickfic I BLAME YOU), but my favorite thing this year is only a little cracky - it's build a better box (Teen Wolf RPF, M), which fills me with warm fuzzies. I reread this story a lot! THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I wrote my own safety tab story, how does that even work?
Okay, NOW your most popular story.
Despite only having posted it a few weeks ago, if we're going by hits, it's the truth about butts and wolves (Teen Wolf, T). If we're going by ALL THE LOVE, it's absolutely paper cranes (upstairs, downstairs) (SGA, M), which has been recced all over the place to my surprise and delight.
Story most under appreciated by the universe?

mijra. But it needs love! It's amazing! It's gen teamfic with nonsexual het kink and dark themes and Ronon's poetry (hate fannish poetry? no, this is fucking awesome, go read it). Mostly I want everyone to leave comments and love on mijra's wonderful words. I mostly wrote Teyla and gave snarky feedback about where to add punctuation and what word choices are boring.
Story that could have been better?
(Same answer as last year.) I almost always think my stories could be better, I'mkind of a perfectionist. That said, there's not any particular story that's bothering me this year.
Sexiest story?
Uh, I don't even know. What does that mean? I think what you do to me (Teen Wolf, E) has the best-written sex and until she shines (SGA, E) has the most sex. Let's go with those.
Most fun story?

fleete was writing with me so I could make her read it for instant feedback. That's probably a tie with she sees dead people (but you gotta make an appointment) (SPN RPF, G) which I wrote while snickfic was visiting. She sat on my bed and said "write it!!!" so I did.
I'm pretty easy to persuade. Just hang out with me and give me puppy eyes. Or food.etothepii has learned this lesson well, he makes me write ALL THE FIC.
Story with single sweetest moment?
You Are Here (Teen Wolf, T). Stiles and Lydia's friendship is my favorite thing. <3
The story that made you cry?
you bought the whole pie (Teen Wolf, G). Reader, I bawled.
Hardest story to write?
You Are Here (Teen Wolf, T), hands down. I had no idea WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON for the first 8k (HALF OF THE STORY), but I pushed on and I'm so, so glad I did. I love this story the mostest.
Easiest story to write?
Pretty much any story that someone vaguely asked the universe/me to write. I LIVE TO FULFILL YOUR DREAMS, INTERNET, ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE CRACKY.
Most overdue story?
Aside from dropping out of a few big bangs quite early on, I turned in everything pretty much on time (or with a very brief extension) this year! I can't believe it!
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I wrote everything. Also, I got over everything having to be perfect in the first draft. Letting myself just roll on and come back later was SCARY at first, as was pushing through when I had no idea what the fuck I was doing. I feel so much more confident in my writing now, though. I can revise like a boss. This is great.
Also, writing more porn. I remember when writing porn was novel. Now I'm just like, "no, I'm pretty sure I'm not spending too much time on Derek putting his finger in Stiles's asshole." (WIP :D :D :D)

132k posted on AO3, not including ~2k of still anon exchange fics or random stuff kicking around in my WIP folders or original fic. The total is probably around 140k (or even 145k, I keep remembering more crap I've written, HOW HAVE I WRITTEN ALL THIS STUFF).
